Oh those lovely cirrus clouds. Where I live, they mean a fine day and rain in a day or two. Out in the Western US, they don’t mean that–they’re just whipped up little clouds. What do they mean in NZ? Or wherever this was taken?
The New Zealand poster about cloud types informs me that the cirrus clouds often announce an approaching front. A discovery ! Thank you (I usually freely interpret them in a poetic way), the poster is quite nice, actually.
