one or two poppies

a sign of spring goals
we really tried to reach the clouds
then we forgot
it seemed wiser
then it seemed to us
that gardening
would be good enough
to blow up the cage haiku
slow down the body
put the weapons down before
you fall sleep let go*
let go of things
all the way, with the winds
and they organize themselves
like spring
