#4239 poetry

At the threshold of the cold season, grey and often a little sad, I try to look at what surrounds me in a different way and I am surprised by what I see.

The air was damp

But it was not raining.

The cool wind cleared my thoughts

in the undergrowth behind the cathedral.

Frozen fingers.

Good heavens ! Iwould never stop learning.

And even though it was damp and cold

the moment was beautiful.

#4239 poesie

photo : Split Apple Rock, the boats come and go to this part of the world, a spot so popular it has been selected as a stop in the local monopoly.

In the fog of loyalty

shadows move

following a path that seemed

mapped out in advance but

instead reveals the limits

of its territory.  Who are we?

And what does that mean?

to a wise  eye and a sympathetic ear?

sandy beaches, tides !

For most of my life, my body and mind have led parallel lives: it was my mind that led the game (no, I don’t have to sleep all these hours, I’m tired but it doesn’t matter, of course I can do a little more, etc.). I had warning signs that I dismissed out of hand, until one day my body had enough.  We have since  been trying to live together, the symbiosis is not always easy but when it happens, I wonder why I thought I could neglect such a big part of myself (and yes, we can have quite a bit of fun together).
