photo : autumn abondance in Tangier, Morocco
Autumn has officially arrived in New Zealand a few weeks ago. The leaves are subtly changing colour, but it is still nice and warm, even though the nights are cool. Beside the abundance of fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables that I enjoy without restriction, the arrival of jellyfish and stingrays has dampened my enthusiasm for swimming, as well as the warm temperature, three or four degrees above the seasonal norms (21 degrees at the moment), that no longer produces the rush of endorphins I experience at 10 degrees. Elsewhere in the city, the one-day Italian festival reminds us that the Italian community has been established in Nelson for many generations. Cheeses, pizzas, Ducati, Alpha Romeo, Babagetto, Vivio, Gelato Roma and co. have gathered on a beautiful Sunday for the great pleasure of a dense and cheerful crowd.
Happy autumn! 🍂
