which will create life/
reducing noise but
above all staying still
like a rainy day

photo : Matai River, Sunday hole, it is sometimes possible to swim there (when the water quality allows), when it is, the experience is invigorating.
For a long time, my shoulders felt the weight of past events and decisions, before I realised that if the past cannot be changed, the narrative surrounding it can make the load a lot lighter.

Photo: Split Apple Rock at high tide: enjoying a solitary swim early in the morning
Approaching the sea/
Silence will be heard/
when catching a glimpse of the roaring waves/
engulfing the beach/
then I’ll be sensitive/
to the colour of the air
Photo: At low tide, birds are busy finding what the sea has to offer, going through the branches that are struggling to find a place in the hubbub of the earth, in Marahau (windy gardens).
Everyone does their own thing/
after the retreat of the sea/
Wandering in the movements of the earth/
and the freshness of the air
