I usually come across jellyfishes, when they are motionless and dead on the beach, looking like a transparent and disgusting jelly. Then there are these bewitching golden creatures, swimming gracefully in the blue water, welcoming travellers upon their arrival in Vancouver. Everything is always a matter of context. Gratitude.

Ah, but a deadly sting. Like fighting with a wild razor blade…
Less gracious for sure!
And very painful.
I usually see them dead on the beach
Yes, I have seen quite a few that way but when I would visit a cousin in Seattle or go up to my grandmothers in Vancouver, I could see swarms of them in the water.
Lovely. (apparently we are experiencing an invasion of Portuguese men of war)
What an amazing name! !
