On the tightrope of desire
your fingers move in the cold air
of a recalcitrant confession.
Contrary to the sincere voice trying
to quieten down

L'art de l'écoute...
I had to read the French version to fully understand this. By ‘quieten down’ I now see you mean subdue or temper (passion). Good one

Hope I translated it right !

Your translation was correct, but, according to my dictionaries, other meanings are temper or subdue – that’s why the French version was, for a change, easier for me 🙂

Oh,well, something good came out of it☺

Ooh. This one packs a punch. I read it in one sentence, then saw the punctuation when I put my glasses on. So much packed into so few words…

I think it would have worked without punctuation (I need glasses too to read).

Oof, I just went to get a pair I can wear all the time and oo la la, the price! But with luck, if they work, I’ll already have them on my face! I think it would have worked without punctuation, too.

I did the same, but still do not wear them unless I have to read. I hate having them on my nose all the time .
