I have found, living in Nelson, that some places are nicer in the sun, others in the rain, and others that are always nice. I find it hard to imagine Italy or Sardinia without sun, for example. Enter the name of the city, region or country that comes to mind.
The city that is always beautiful, in the rain or in the sun: Quebec city
The town that's dramatic in the rain: Greymouth
The city that is only beautiful in the sun: Nelson, where I live, is the sunniest city in the country. It is rare that there are more than two days without sunshine, but when it does happen I find the whole town loses its charm, this is not the case in Greymouth, which exudes something quite special in the rain. Strange!

Je me suis rendu compte, en vivant à Nelson, que certains lieux sont plus agréables au soleil, d’autres dans la pluie, et d’autres qui sont toujours agréables. J’ai du mal à imaginer l’Italie ou la Sardaigne sans soleil, par exemple. Insérez le nom de ville, de région ou de pays qui vous vient à l’esprit.
La ville qui est toujours belle, dans la flotte ou au soleil : Québec
La ville qui est dramatique dans la pluie : Greymouth
La ville qui n’est belle qu’au soleil : Nelson, où je vis, est la ville la plus ensoleillée au pays. Il est rare qu’on y ait plus de deux jours sans soleil, mais lorsque cela arrive, je trouve que toute la ville perd son charme, ce n’est pas le cas à Greymouth, qui dégage quelque chose de tout à fait particulier dans la pluie. Etrange !
