photo: it’s not always sunny in Mykonos, but even when the sky is threatening, beauty is found.
I had known how to read between the lines of power for a long time, very proud of myself I guess, to read what others could not, to feel the vibe! I wondered why such a talent had not taken me much further, but later, much later, when it had become no longer important, I realised that what was obvious to everybody else did not reach me that is, what was on the line.

we imagined a place, a refuge, a moor,
where we would walk barefoot
where the wildest thoughts
would soften a little and
where we would astonish the clouds
with asilence between the two of us

I prefer to swim in winter, first because the water temperature (around 10 degrees) produces a lot of endorphins after my swims, and secondly because I am often alone. I can then completely soak up the beauty of the place, the sound of the waves, the warmth of the sun on my face, while the rest of my body is numb from the cold. But even when I’m not alone, I like to be on the beach in winter because every walker gives off a sense of completeness, as if everyone is thinking: « how lucky to be here today ».
