the only thing
the only thing
is to become who you are
no competing, no comparing
to the best or the worst
easier said than done still
just become

photo : une plage imparfaite, pas vraiment instagrammable, désordonnée, comme je les aime.
Photo: Collingwood, one of those scenes that forces you to live in the present moment.
It was this light,
grey, I suppose,
that filled all my eyes
with the present moment.
I tire in the past,
I get lost in the future,
but if I grasp it, I do not get tired of the present.
Yet I constantly escape from it.
very late at night
until the fringes of day
I’m thinking of dawn

If I had a god
it would be the sun…
I would thank him in the morning
for my hands warming
I would pray him in the evening
to return the the following morning
I would worry about his absence
and would ask him to come back
but not to burn my daily bread
I would write poems to praise him
while warming myself under his rays
