The lens of my camera has taught me that a scene I look at varies greatly depending on the angle from which the shot is taken. The fact that the scene is narrowed by the lens means that it is more perceptible. But seeing through a camera lens has led me to see that it is the same thing for life. The angles from which one can look at one single event are many.

in the summer breeze
all these austere faces
appeared before me
frozen in stone
stories of kings
who had lost their voices
Getting caught up by the depth
of the water, the turmoil and
the rocks

the quiet surface of things
