On allait quelque part
mais on ne savait pas où
et on y allait tout de même
un pas à la fois
dans la succession des secondes
ou des années, qui sait
qu’il est long le chemin
mais lorsque l’on arriverait à la fin
on se dirait « déjà? »

If you asked me
Where my courage came from
I would say that I never knew
that it lasted for the time of the storm
and that afterwards it disappeared
