#4088 selfportrait*
Photo: Marahau (Windy Gardens), at high tide, this marsh is submerged. At low tide, a small stream of water makes its way through the wild grass to reach the mother.
When I saw this stream of water winding its way through the weeds, I immediately thought to myself that it looked like my life, which has never followed a straight line, has often been submerged, but has continued its way always looking at the sea.
*as always, inspired by the work of Edouard Levé

you will never know
what’s in my dreams
even I
am not sure what they are made of
the ghosts that travel in my head
yet everything is there
that we don’t see

you write yourself one day at a time
you learn the language of the body
then it boils down to a shaking hand
but time passes
and you let go
what doesn’t matter

Getting caught up by the depth
of the water, the turmoil and
the rocks
or staying in the turquoise of
the quiet surface of things
