#4102 poetry

photo: on my way to Wainui Falls (« big  waters ») in Golden Bay, reflecting that inner storms are the hardest to calm down

One day we’ll know how to calm our inner storms

we’ll know what time  to turn off the lights is best.

When that time comes

SPF  will no longer burn our eyes

and we’ll always know where the keys are

We’ll know how  to save paper

In the meantime, we’re doing our best

There are days of trouble

And days when we could do better
